Oktober hatte ich meinen Kurs der Continuing Education im Seife machen. Es war wirklich ein Kurs der sehr viel Spa\u00df gemacht hat. Das Essen dieses mal war ein Gericht namens Patac\u00f3n con todo das in Colombia zubereitet wird. F\u00fcr fl\u00fcssiges sorgten die Leute aus Mexico mit einem Cocktail namens Aguas Locas (Achtung! Das Zeug haut ganz sch\u00f6n rein, wie mein Freundeskreis hier an zwei Wochenenden nacheinander erfolgreich getestet hat ;D). Und ich habe am Montag vormittags noch Brezn selbst gebacken. Zu feiern gab\u00b4s zwei Geburtstage: einen in meiner Tanzklasse und den von Juan Carlos (Venezuela, Student at Binghamton University). Anbei ein Foto meiner Tanzklasse, das bei der Feier entstanden ist. Ich, &#8222;Das K\u00fcken&#8220;, habe immer viel Spa\u00df mit &#8222;den M\u00e4dels&#8220; wenn wir Mittwochabend das Tanzbein schwingen. Zu Juan Carlos Geburtstagsparty sag ich nur&#8230;es war eine Latino-Party (bedeutet feiern und Tanzen bis 5 in der fr\u00fch, wobei die Betonung f\u00fcr Deutsche wie mich auf Tanzen liegt. F\u00fcr diese Partys sollte man definitiv ein gut ge\u00f6ltes H\u00fcftgelenk besitzen, denn Latin-Dance hat es in sich.). Vielleicht schaffe ich in dem Jahr mal ein gutes Video einer solchen Party. Ich werde mir m\u00fche geben! Abschied nehmen hie\u00df es f\u00fcr mich letzte Woche von meiner Zeichenklasse und meiner Klasse in American Sign Language (ASL). Anbei auch ein Bild meiner ASL-Klasse. Wir organisieren international Lunches am Campus, planen Trips zusammen und vernetzen uns alle um uns dadurch eine Hilfe zu sein. Dies ist gerade auch bei den ein oder anderen Sprachbarrieren sehr hilfreich. \u00dcber unseren Ausflug nach New York habe ich bereits berichtet. Begleitet haben mich\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.32ppp.de\/ctafelmeier\" target=\"_blank\">Chris<\/a>\u00a0und Taylor (Venezuela). Kommen wir erst einmal zu dem was mir auf der Fahrt aufgefallen ist und sp\u00e4ter zu dem, wie atemberaubend sch\u00f6n die Wasserf\u00e4lle sind. Die Strecke von mir zu den Niagaraf\u00e4llen ist wenn man sich an die Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzung h\u00e4lt, eine Fr\u00fchst\u00fcckspause einlegt und Chris am Flughafen in Buffalo einsammelt ca. 4-5 Stunden einfach. Umso mehr unglaublich die Spritkosten f\u00fcr diesen Riadtrip: ca. 50 $. Was auch noch ein gro\u00dfer Unterschied zwischen dem Fahren in den USA und Deutschland ist, \u00a0sind Geschwindigkeit und Stra\u00dfen. Um ehrlich zu sein, Auto fahren in den USA ist ein wenig langweilig auf den Highways, da Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzung und immer nur gerade aus. \u00dcbernachtet haben wir bei einer Airbnb Herberge. Und auch hier haben wir wieder gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Bis jetzt waren die Leute die Zimmer auf Airbnb zur Verf\u00fcgung stellen immer sehr weltoffene und Freundliche Gastgeber. In meinem Kurs International Business hatten wir die Pr\u00e4sentationen von unseren ersten Arbeiten in der Gruppenarbeit. Wir sollen ein Konzept erstellen, welches Produkt wir in welches Land verkaufen m\u00f6chten und warum und wie und wo wir es produzieren lassen wollen. Und \u00dcberraschung&#8230;wir werden Elektroautos nach Deutschland bringen. Also Heimspiel f\u00fcr mich! Ich werde alleine hin fahren und mit weiteren drei Leuten heim nach Binghamton kommen, denn meine Mama Sabine, mein Stiefdad Uli und mein kleiner Bruder Max kommen mich besuchen. Wir werden ein paar Tage in NYC verbringen und anschlie\u00dfend Binghamton unsicher machen.
