..this girl is amazing!

Kayla is a musician. She sings her own songs and also covers songs from great musicians like Jessie J, Megan Trainor, Adele, Taylor Swift or Sam Smith but also Country Music! She transforms songs like toxic into a smooth guitar version that captures everybody!

Besides her great singing & guitar performance, funny entertaining between her songs and awesome band, she is an amazing person. She is very down-to earth (she’s no superstar or sth but earns money with her music and performs regularly every week since she was 13), humble, funny and so kind. We went to 2 of her concerts so far as she’s Guiliano’s High School friend who introduced us. The last one was her Birthday concert as she turned 18 on Tuesday and it was great! Her family is always there, supporting her by playing Cajon, promoting and dancing. They already recognized us and welcomed us so warmly, danced and chatted with us! I will definitely continue to go to her concerts in restaurants and bars (which are free btw) !

My friends Mella, Erica and me went to the Christkindl Market in Mifflinburg, PA.

It was fun and more or less German with Wuerstchen, Gluehwein, gebrannten Mandeln (250g for $10) and Lebkuchen. Nicht zu vergessen Schwiegermuttertee! However, I missed Lebkuchenherzen, German Christmas Music (instead of Bavarian Volksmusik & Lederhosen wearing, dancing Bavarians) as well as Kinderpunsch and affordable Schnickschnack. They mostly had very costly jewellery and e.g. Kuckucksuhren for $2,000 !! Also, they ran out of a lot of stuff 3h before they closed which was kind of surprising and frustrating. However, it was fun. Plus, the shuttle (which took people from the parking lot 1/2 miles to the market) was a real, American SCHOOL BUS!
