On Mother’s Day, Matt and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings<\/span> with his family after church, which was fun!\u00a0People who know me know that I have never been a big kids person<\/span><\/em>. I mean how: With no siblings, baby-neighbors<\/span><\/strong> or under aged-friend-siblings?\u00a0I am so glad that I can experience how it is to be part of a big-7 sibling<\/span> family. His<\/strong><\/em> 7 sibling (or 6) family. \u00a0I tell you, it NEVER<\/em> <\/strong><\/span>gets boring! His house is a big<\/span> vibrating<\/span> play<\/span>ground<\/span><\/span> <\/em><\/strong>full of action, fun, screaming<\/em> (also sometimes crying) and love. I really enjoy<\/span> being around his c<\/span>razy<\/span><\/span>–cute<\/span><\/em><\/strong> siblings, playing pirates, candy cane <\/span>selling, weird Playstation-Big-Lady-Mat-Dance-Games<\/em>, kitchen sing-dancing and reading them the German book Clifford<\/em><\/span>\u00a0which they bought because they wanted me to read it to them. Sometimes, they even fight about me which makes me feel like the rope in Tauziehen hahah (incl. Matt)! How cute is that?!<\/p>\n

Yesterday, the youngest declared me\u00a0his love<\/span>\u00a0for the first time. One day<\/em>, I might have to choose.<\/em><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Back to Mother’s Day! As the name implies, I wanted to see my mom at that day, too, so we skyped after lunch. It was so funny<\/span><\/em><\/span>! Matt with his Beginner German phrases about Kaesekuchen<\/span><\/strong><\/em> and my mom with her cute Denglish and with my Dad throwing missing vocab in<\/span><\/span> – Communication worked though!<\/p>\n

Speaking about family, may I introduce our new member<\/em>: Chi Chi<\/strong><\/span>. He is the smallest dog-like creature I’ve ever seen! It is Jo’s daughter’s dog but he sometimes sleeps over<\/em>. He is adorable<\/strong><\/span>! This Chiuaua-Poodle mix<\/em><\/strong><\/span> (weird combination, right? But hey: D<\/span>iv<\/span>ers<\/span>ity<\/span>!) He obviously does look a lot cuter<\/span> than any of those breeds. He runs & jumps around (straight is hard though) like a Flummy<\/span><\/strong> and really likes biting Cardigans and shoes! #Cuteness<\/p>\n

Further, Jo’s daughter’s boyfriend David moved in with us recently, she herself does not live with us anymore due to some incidents. He seems to be a very nice, easy-going<\/span> and cool guy, I’m happy to have him around. The more people, the better! (I guess)<\/em>.\"greek\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The other weekend, we went to the Greek Fest <\/strong><\/span>in Camp Hill, which was very authentic and fun! They really put effort in setting up a lot of different food stands (Gyro<\/span>, Souvlaki, Baklava ice cream,…), Cultural activities like Dances<\/span> (also interactive!) and a bunch of vendors selling Greek souvenirs. Among those, there was a place where Matt and I snatched a MATRIX<\/span><\/strong><\/em> VHS<\/span><\/strong> – yes, VHS<\/span><\/strong>! As he had never seen Matrix, it was on our To do List until then. We watched it this past weekend and it was very cool #ret<\/span><\/span>r<\/span>o<\/em><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n
