Hey, DC, I’m back!<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Matt, Pauline and I went to the International Student DC trip from HACC on Saturday and it was great!<\/p>\n

Sunburny sunny 70 degrees<\/span><\/strong> all day long, beautiful walks, Cherry Blossom Trees<\/span> <\/em><\/strong>(I guess) and a big variety of different people!<\/p>\n

We watched an IMAX movie (3D)<\/strong><\/em><\/span> in the Air & Space Museum<\/span>, admired planes hanging from the ceiling and pretended to know what we were looking at. Further, we went to the Tidal Basin<\/span><\/strong>, took selfies at the Washington Monument<\/em> and looked for food for at least 2h <\/strong>of starvation. We found a row of foodtrucks<\/span><\/strong> – closed!<\/em><\/span> What the.. ? After studying 3 maps<\/strong> <\/span>and seeing different people walking by with food, we finally found some with\u00a0Turkish\/Greek\/Arabic\/Gyro\/Falafel<\/em> food -> good!<\/p>\n

The bus ride was pretty entertaining<\/span> as well! We listened to a British girl with an American slang\u00a0talking to her friends about Winnie Poo boyfriends<\/span><\/strong> and bloody things<\/span><\/em> (which became true), a long-haired suit & sunglasses wearing Mafia<\/em> looking guy explaining that some people don’t know how to run away<\/em> – but he he just takes his two feet and runs away<\/em><\/span>! And a final “Oh, you’re from Germany?!”<\/em> conversation with the girls once the bus stopped in York to drop us off & everybody waited for us to get off<\/strong><\/em>. It was fun!<\/p>\n
