There we work!

My company just told me they will keep me until the end of June! And I will even have something to do, even more than I’ll be able to finish before I leave! They took quite a bit to decide, I was almost about to apply at Panera, Qdoba and Roborritos to have a job after April, because that’s officially how long they wanted to keep me (tax season). Luckily, I didn’t and now I will earn enough money, have something to do and don’t have to get used a new workplace. On the one hand, I’d have enjoyed that, on the other, I know what I have here and I got quite used to those weird coworkers 😀

And they really like me and my work, apparently, so I’m more than happy to stay here! What I also really like about Flickinger is their flexibility and openness. Being sick for total 5 days & taking around 4 days off was no problem at all. Reading emails, fb, blog and language learning in non-busy times is totally ok, too. Not to mention how much they supported me when I had to find a new family!

So now, my hosts, Giules & Matthew and I are pretty likely going to Disney (and Universal) on Memorial weekend from Thursday – Monday! I am so excited about that and cannot wait to see this totally different, amazing, huge own world with thousands of more little worlds, countries, cities and parks in it! We are going to stay at Jo’s parents house and get in for free which is better than I could have ever imagined! Plus, they know the park very well and can give recommendations.
